Solar Service Technician

Compensation: $21-$25 pr/hr

Job Type: Full-Time, On Site, M-F.

A Solar Service Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and maintenance of our solar energy systems. Possessing a strong background in electrical systems, solar troubleshooting, and general solar field service.

Responsibilities for a Solar Service Technician:
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of solar energy systems.
• Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components, including string downs and panels.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical issues within solar installations.
• Collaborate with the installation team to ensure new projects meet quality standards.
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
• Provide on-site training and support to customers as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience in solar field service and maintenance.
• Some electrical background with ability to share relevant knowledge.
• Previous solar troubleshooting experience.
• Comfortable working on rooftops with pitched surfaces.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills with customers and team members.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Cannot have a fear of heights
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions (hot and sunny as well as colder temperatures)
• Ability to climb ladders/stairs
