The Solar Field Service Technician (Operations and Maintenance), Level II at Pearce Services is responsible for the operation and maintenance of solar power plants, ensuring compliance with preventative and corrective maintenance standards. This role requires physical labor at solar energy sites near Becker, Minnesota, and emphasizes safety and professionalism in all tasks.

Responsibilities
• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance of equipment.
,
• Responsible for documentation including work orders, time logs, inventory control, and emergency information schedules.
,
• Provide a working knowledge of troubleshooting electrical components using digital multi-meters, meggers, amp clamps, and similar equipment.
,
• Test and troubleshoot installed equipment to ensure proper working order.
,
• Maintain a strong safety background with experience in Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).
,
• Work effectively both independently and in a group environment.
,
• Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally according to company policies.

Requirements
• 1+ years' experience in Commercial/Industrial operations and maintenance (O&M) on solar power plants is preferred.

• Strong mechanical and electrical experience with troubleshooting and installation skills.
,
• Specific solar experience with Inverters, Tracker Systems, or Sub-Stations Equipment (TMEIC/SMA/Sungrow/Nextracker/ATI, etc.) is preferred.
,
• Ability to train, mentor, and develop laborers into Apprentices.
,
• High aptitude and a strong work ethic are a must.
