Are you passionate about renewable energy and sustainable solutions? We are seeking an experienced Permanent Solar Engineer to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing solar power projects. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment and is eager to apply their expertise in solar energy to make a significant impact.

Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Solar Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Designing, developing, and enhancing solar power systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of efficiency and reliability.
2. Utilizing advanced software tools such as AutoCAD and Civil3D to create detailed technical drawings and plans for solar energy systems.
3. Collaborating with project managers, architects, and other construction professionals to integrate solar power systems into building designs seamlessly.
4. Conducting site evaluations, energy production modeling, and shading analysis to determine the optimal location and design for solar installations.
5. Developing grading plans, ensuring the correct positioning and orientation of solar panels for maximum energy production.
6. Managing all stages of solar projects, from initial design and development through to installation and maintenance.
7. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and codes of practice related to solar energy systems.
8. Providing technical guidance and support to team members, clients, and stakeholders on all matters related to solar energy.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field, is required. A Professional Engineer (PE) certification is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the design and implementation of solar energy systems.
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and other relevant design software.
4. Extensive knowledge of solar energy technology, including photovoltaics and solar thermal systems.
5. Familiarity with grading plans and the ability to develop effective solutions for site-specific challenges.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
8. A passion for renewable energy and a commitment to promoting sustainable practices in the construction industry.
