Northeast Custom Solar is hiring a Solar Energy Systems Installer in Connecticut. Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation of solar energy systems on residential and commercial properties. As a Solar Installer, you will work closely with other team members to ensure that installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and construction practices, as well as the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities
• Install solar panels on rooftops and ground-mounted systems according to design specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for installation tasks, including drills, saws, and voltmeters.
• Conduct electrical fixture installations, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations.
• Perform low voltage wiring and connections for solar energy systems.
• Conduct site assessments to determine optimal installation locations and configurations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation processes.

Skills
• Experience working on construction sites is essential.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, particularly in relation to solar energy installations.
• Familiarity with roofing techniques and safety measures when working at heights.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings related to solar installations.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to plumb fixtures accurately.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:
