Job Description

Apadana, LLC is hiring a Solar Energy Consultant in New Hope, MN, focused on residential solar sales. Responsibilities include generating leads, conducting consultations, educating homeowners, and guiding them through the sales process. Candidates should have 2+ years of sales experience, strong communication skills, and a valid driver's license. Position Summary: Seeking an energetic, self-motivated Solar Sales Representative to join our growing solar company in Minnesota. The immediate focus will be on residential solar sales. The ideal candidate will develop new business, educate homeowners on solar benefits, and guide them through the sales process to successful installation. This person must have proven experience with customer/account management, solar sales practices, solar cash flow models, financing structures (i.e., loan, PPA, etc.), utility and government renewable policies/guidelines. Solar products may include both solar PV systems residential and commercial (with and without battery backup), EV charging and possibly other services. General Duties and Responsibilities Include:

Key Responsibilities:

· Generate and qualify leads through various channels including referrals, networking events, and canvassing

· Conduct in-home and/or video consultations to assess solar feasibility and design custom solutions

· Educate homeowners on solar technology, financial benefits, and incentives

· Create compelling proposals that demonstrate energy savings and ROI

· Guide customers through the sales process from initial consultation to contract signing

· Meet or exceed monthly sales targets

· Maintain accurate CRM records and follow up with prospects

· Stay current on industry trends, products, and competitor offerings

· From time to time, Apadana leadership may request additional support in areas such as:

- Event and booth/table set-up and management

-Other tasks relevant to sales, operations, and engineering

Qualifications:

· 2+ years of successful sales experience, preferably in residential services or home improvement

· Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills

· Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Comfortable with technology and ability to learn new software systems

· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

· Availability to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends

· High school diploma required; college degree preferred

Preferred Skills

· Experience in solar, renewable energy or home improvement sales

· Knowledge of utility rates, solar technology, and financial incentives

· Proficiency with CRM software and digital presentation tools

· Experience with consultative sales approaches

Compensation

· Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission structure $40,000-$120,000, depending on experience and total sales volume
