Trinity Solar is seeking a Solar Electric Technician in Macungie, PA, to install and service residential solar energy systems. Join Trinity Solar as a motivated and skilled Solar Electric Technician to assist in the installation and servicing of innovative residential solar energy systems. This pivotal role emphasizes service upgrades, utility meter relocations, and the integration of essential electrical components such as batteries and wiring. Key Responsibilities:
• Install cutting-edge solar battery systems for new customers, and retrofit existing solar setups with energy storage solutions.
• Execute electrical service upgrades and utility meter relocations, ensuring compliance with company standards and all relevant national and local electrical codes (NEC).
• Troubleshoot and repair solar electrical systems and devices with precision and expertise.
• Lead technical efforts on service calls or installations, providing valuable guidance to team members.
• Support material staging, equipment setup, and job site organization, while promoting cleanliness and safety.
• Accurately document all work performed, including photographic evidence, system diagrams, and detailed service notes; submit reports in a timely manner.
• Interact professionally with homeowners, inspectors, and internal teams to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience.
• Adhere to all company vehicle operation protocols and prioritize safety guidelines.
Qualifications & Experience:
• State Electrical License not required, but familiarity with electrical standards is essential.
• Solid understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Previous experience in solar or residential electrical work is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand and power tools is essential.
• Comfortable working at heights and in varying outdoor conditions; must be able to safely climb ladders and work on rooftops.
• Capable of lifting and carrying 40-50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check and drug screening.
