Purelight Power is hiring a Solar Crew Foreman in Florence, KY, to manage the solar installation crew. Responsibilities include leading the team, training new installers, ensuring safety and quality compliance, and collaborating with management. Crew Foreman Roles and Responsibilities

Purelight Power is Ohio and Kentucky’s premier residential solar installer. Take pride in being part of a company that installs high quality solar systems from start to finish. We are looking for a dedicated Foreman to lead and manage the installation crew at our Florence location.

The Crew Foreman is responsible for managing the lead installer and solar installation crew. This person should be able to lead a diverse team in an efficient manner and have the ability to train new installers on all aspects of installation. The right candidate should be fully competent in all aspects of solar installation. This includes OSHA and safety practices, roof installations, ground mount installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

Essential Job Functions

● Lead and manage the lead installer and installation crew

● Collaborate with Branch Management for scheduling and project coordination

● Review projects before installation to ensure issues are mitigated

● Work with the installation crew in the field

● Train new installers on installation practices and safety standards

● Work on roofs, ladders, crawlspaces, attics and other residential and commercial areas

● Implement quality control and safety inspections with the installation crew

● Interact with clients in a respectful manner

● Accurately upload information to CRM

Required skills and abilities

● Proficient in all aspects of roof and ground-mount solar PV systems

● Proficient in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting systems and components

● Ability to read schematics and follow technical installation instructions

● Experience with roof work and general carpentry preferred

● Comply with company policies and procedures

● Enforce all company and OSHA safety policies

● Management or leadership experience preferred

● Obtain OSHA 10 safety training (course provided by employer )and Competent Person

Minimum Qualifications

● Minimum 2 years experience as a solar installer or in the solar industry

● Minimum 1 year experience as a lead installer

● Drivers license and good driving record, required

Pay: $36.00 - $43.00/hour, DOE
