Key Responsibilities:
• Prospecting & Lead Generation:
• Initiate cold calls and strategic outreach to businesses and non-profit organizations across Kansas and Missouri.
• Drive your own lead generation efforts while leveraging available leads to build a robust sales pipeline.
• Sales Presentations & Consultations:
• Engage with potential clients to evaluate their energy needs and deliver tailored solar presentations.
• Highlight our comprehensive financing options from national and local lenders to provide personalized, cost-effective solutions.
• Relationship Building:
• Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with decision-makers, ensuring exceptional customer service from the first contact through project implementation.
• Strategic Industry Partnerships: Collaborate with professionals in the construction industry—including construction companies, roofers, real estate agents, and other industry experts—to identify new opportunities and expand our market reach.
• Proposal Development & Negotiation:
• Create detailed, customized proposals and expertly negotiate contracts to secure new business.
• Collaborate with internal teams (technical, installation, finance) to ensure seamless delivery of our solar solutions.
• In-House Excellence: Leverage our full-service model by coordinating with our in-house installation team to guarantee top-quality execution and a unified customer experience.
• CRM Management & Reporting:
• Maintain accurate lead and client data using CRM software, providing regular updates on sales activities and performance against goals.
• Market & Industry Expertise:
• Stay current on solar industry trends, innovations, and competitor activities to keep our services ahead of the curve.

Qualifications:
• Proven track record in B2B and outside sales, with specific experience in solar or renewable energy preferred.
• Demonstrated success with cold calling and independent lead generation.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• A results-driven mindset with strong negotiation abilities.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing an independent sales territory.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• High school diploma required; a degree in business, marketing, environmental science, or a related field is a plus.
