About the position

SolarTec Off Grid Solutions LLC is a leading provider of American-made solar energy systems and Briggs & Stratton home standby generators in East Tennessee. We are dedicated to helping homeowners and businesses achieve energy independence and sustainability through innovative, cost-effective, and reliable off-grid solutions. Our strategic partnerships with major renewable energy manufacturers allow us to offer our sales professionals more flexibility with multiple system options and pricing incentives to assist in closing sales. We are seeking motivated and dynamic Solar Sales Professionals to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for marketing and selling our state-of-the-art solar energy systems and home standby generators to residential and commercial customers in East Tennessee. You will play a key role in driving our growth and helping our customers achieve their energy goals.

Responsibilities
• Identify and target potential customers in the East Tennessee region
,
• Conduct in-home and virtual consultations to assess customer energy needs
,
• Present and explain the benefits of solar energy systems and home standby generators
,
• Develop customized proposals and solutions to meet customer requirements
,
• Close sales and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
,
• Maintain relationships with existing customers and provide exceptional customer service
,
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in solar technology

Requirements
• Proven experience in sales, preferably in the solar energy or home standby generator industry
,
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
,
• Ability to understand and explain technical concepts to non-technical customers
,
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for renewable energy
,
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
,
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
