Software Developer Intern

Connexus Energy is seeking a Software Developer Intern for summer 2025 in St Paul, MN. The role involves assisting with integrations and automations using programming languages like Node.js and Python. Candidates must be pursuing a degree in programming or business analysis and must reside or relocate to Minnesota. The internship is full-time, in-office, and pays between $20.00 and $24.00 per hour, with no benefits.

Location:
The internship is a temporary position requiring full-time, in-office hours at our campus located at 14601 Ramsey Blvd. Ramsey, MN 55303. Based on current requirements, hires must reside or relocate to Minnesota. This temporary position is not eligible for relocation or housing.
Compensation:
Anticipated hiring pay is between $20.00 and $24.00 per hour. The final compensation is based on the selected candidate's qualifications, experience and skill level. This position does not qualify for benefits but does qualify for the Minnesota Earned Safe and Sick Time (ESST).
In this position you will:
Create, maintain and update Microservices, integrations, or automations as required to fulfill major and minor project requests using Node.js, GitHub, Python.
Respond to one-off and/or short-term requests for data, integration, or automation efforts, from departments and individuals across the organization
Support maintenance of automation and data integrations using Node.js, GitHub, Python, VBScript, .BAT file, PowerShell
Need to have: High school diploma or equivalent
Currently pursuing a 4-year undergraduate analytical discipline, such as programming, statistics, data analysis, business analysis, or computer science.
Nice to have: Previous internship or professional experience in programming, business analysis, data analysis or data visualization
Familiarity with software development or business analysis requirement elicitation
Pre-Employment Requirement: Employment is contingent upon successfully completing a pre-employment background check and drug screen
