The Society for Experiential Graphic Design is hiring a Senior Signage and Environment Designer for their Paramus, NJ location. This role involves designing signage, wayfinding, and experiential graphics, requiring excellent graphic design skills and proficiency in Adobe Suite. The position is full-time and offers a hybrid work model, allowing for optional in-office days, but candidates must be locally based for on-site collaboration. Salary range is $75,000 - $95,000.

We do this by creating carefully tailored designs that follow industry standards and best practices, ensuring that our work is not just visually appealing, but also well-built, sustainable, and accessible.We have an immediate opening for a skilled designer to work on signage and wayfinding, experiential graphics and exhibit design projects.We are looking for a highly organized self-starter, able to communicate with partners, clients, designers, technical suppliers, and others to help deliver a high-quality design package on time and on budget. Our studio is unique: we undertake projects for culture and commerce that involve multiple kinds of in-house design specialists at the same time, from media designers, to architects, graphic designers, writers and more.Responsibilities:The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:Experience designing and producing Signage and Experiential Graphics programsExcellent graphic design skillsAdvanced skills in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Cadtools, InDesign)A well-organized and detail-oriented, can-do attitudeFlexibility to work independently and be a team player when necessaryPositive attitude that can take criticism wellSelf-motivated and independent thinker with strong communication skillsAbility and willingness to adapt to rapidly changing prioritiesArticulate and poised with excellent communication and interpersonal skillsCapabilities in Revit, AutoCAD, 3D rendering such as Rhino + SketchUp a plusOur company is located in New York City. We are currently a hybrid workplace with optional in-office days.
