Job Description

We are currently looking for a new Social Media and Communications Manager to join our team, who will be in charge of running multiple social media accounts on platforms including but not limited to Facebook and Instagram, alongside the editing and distribution of press releases.

This would include creating regular posts on our social media platforms (photo posts, video posts and news article links created on easy-to-use platforms like Canva). Some content topics would be provided to you, and you would also be monitoring media regularly for stories and news relating to the Foundation's areas of work in order to come up with your own content ideas. All content would be focused on promoting awareness about improving animal welfare and sustainability.

In addition, you will be in charge of editing, managing, and distributing press releases across the various regions in which Lever operates. It will also occasionally entail writing press releases and other long-form content.

This role will be based in the Philippines and will be full-time.

Qualifications
• Fluency in both English and Tagalog
• Previous experience managing successful social media accounts
• Significant editing and writing experience
• Passion for promoting animal welfare and/or sustainability issues
• Create catchy content and captions that attract attention, shares and likes
• Create stylish visuals using basic graphic design software such as Canva
• Edit and refine written content, ensuring clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines
• Ability to adapt communication styles for different audiences and channels
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand corporate messaging needs
• Efficient at working from home and comfortable working with colleagues across multiple time zones
• Positive attitude and success-driven personality
• Proficiency in TikTok and the creation of short videos preferred
