Job Description

NAB is hiring a Small Business Banker for Adelaide and Regional South Australia. The role involves managing lending requests, developing customer relationships, and performing credit analysis. Candidates should have experience in lending, a customer-centric mindset, and strong financial acumen. In this Small Business Banking role, you will
• Manage lending and product requests for small business customers, understanding your customers business needs to provide effective banking solutions
• Develop longstanding partnerships with your customers, identify fresh opportunities and bring innovative solutions to life
• Perform credit analysis and approve requests for temporary excesses/increased limits up to DCA
• Understand key credit requirements to ensure lending applications are completed in line with credit policy
• Develop and maintain understanding of other bank products ie. transactional banking including merchant facilities, deposits, insurance etc. to holistically serve your customers’ needs
• Be the key driver in growing our reach and ensuring existing customers stay engaged, satisfied, and committed for the long haul

What you’ll bring
• Demonstrable experience in a lending role with a focus on customer acquisition
• Customer obsessed mindset and ways of working
• Track record of experience across lending and navigating the credit process
• Completed DCA preferred.
• Exceptional business and financial acumen skills
