Job Description

Adams Dearborn LLC is seeking a Power Trading Settlement Analyst for their Chicago office. The role involves confirming and reconciling settlement transactions, managing contracts, and producing settlement reports. Candidates should have 3-4 years in the utility industry and a relevant degree. The position offers a hybrid work schedule (3 days in office, 2 at home), competitive pay ($80-110K plus bonus), and benefits including health insurance and paid time off.
Our client, a leading global renewable energy firm, is seeking a Power Trading Settlement Analyst to join their team at their Chicago office. Our client offers:

Duties:
• Confirm and reconcile all settlement transactions through System Operators.
• Check that payments are correctly made and received from the System Operators or counterparties, and report disputes when needed
• Ensure all third-party physical and financial contracts are correctly administrated and settled correctly
• Produce monthly settlement data/reports for the Accounting department.
• Monitor policy regulation and legislative developments in the energy market in relation to Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) and capacity.
• Research Industry publications, business manuals and upcoming policies and manage filings of regulatory agreements for existing and new assets, monitor Market renewable projects. New ISO developments.
• Produce and fill Market Participation data, Project Registration, Project Filings (ex: REC eligibility) reports

Requirements:
• 3-4 years in the utility industry working in a deregulated energy market environment with knowledge of North American ISOs and the REC industry preferred.
• Bachelor’s or certificate degree in Business Administration, Compliance, Paralegal, Administrative Assistant, or related technical field or equivalent work experience required.
• Good communication and software skills.
• Have a valid driver’s license

Pay 80-110K plus bonus
