The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President of Finance to play a pivotal role in directing the financial strategy for a substantial portfolio of renewable energy projects. The successful candidate will be tasked with shaping and implementing a robust financial strategy to support the company's growth goals in the renewable energy sector. This includes leading capital-raising efforts through strategic partnerships with investors, overseeing all aspects of corporate and project finance, and ensuring the financial health of the company's portfolio. The role also involves providing comprehensive financial insights, managing financial risks, and engaging with senior management, board members, and investors as a strategic financial advisor.
Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in finance, with a strong background in project and corporate finance within the renewable energy sector. In-depth knowledge of the U.S. renewable energy financing landscape, particularly in wind, solar, and energy storage, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in raising capital for renewable energy projects, excellent leadership skills to manage and develop finance teams, and a strategic mindset focused on financial growth in the renewable energy industry. A Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field is required, with a preference for an MBA or relevant financial certification such as a CFA. Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities are also necessary for this role.
