Role Overview

We are currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Renewables Investment Team. As a Senior Associate, you’ll spearhead both existing and new renewable energy investments with tangible and measurable impacts. Your main responsibilities will include the following:

• Develop, maintain, and own relationships with customers to both enhance existing relationship and develop fresh investment possibilities.

• Taking charge of transactions across the investment lifecycle – from origination and underwriting to financial modeling, investment approvals, definitive documentation, and deal closing.

• Leading and overseeing due diligence efforts for investment prospects and fostering seamless collaboration and efficiency with all transaction stakeholders, including external legal counsel and third-party consultants.

• Managing the development and implementation of intricate financial models for various investment endeavors, along with reviewing detailed investment committee documentation.

• Contributing to team growth, cohesion, and success by working collaboratively with both junior and senior members of the team.

• Coordinate with the asset management team and provide support when required.

• Fulfilling other duties as necessary.

Qualifications

Advantage Capital is seeking highly motivated, confident, and articulate individuals with at least 5 years’ post-undergraduate experience in investment banking, private equity, or institutional investing, and/or renewables finance at top-tier organizations. Candidates must have experience within the renewable energy industry in the context of investing in projects and/or development companies. The ideal candidate will have renewables-focused experience spanning both corporate and project/structured finance, including tax equity and debt underwriting.
