Join the V3 Team and elevate your career! We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner-Project Manager for our Indianapolis Landscape Architecture & Planning studio. As a key member of our collaborative and creative team, you will engage in a range of planning, landscape architecture, environmental and civil engineering improvement projects for municipal and private clients. This role offers the opportunity to apply your planning skills across a wide array of project types and communities.

What You Bring
Strong business development skills to help grow and advance the planning and landscape architecture practice.
Excellent technical, communication, and project management skills.
Service-oriented approach to business development.
Ability to apply strategic planning values, principals, and creativity to integrated teams.
Expertise in managing projects from start to completion.
Proven ability to mentor junior staff and provide technical insights at the project level.
Proficiency in conducting QA/QC reviews of work.
Collaboration skills to work closely with other V3 disciplines on project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Manage project execution, budgets, quality, and client relationships.
Contribute to business development by acquiring planning assignments, engaging in industry associations, and preparing responses to solicitations and Requests for Proposals.
Develop community plans, master plans, ordinances, and any statutory planning documents.
Review clients targeted and owned properties and sites to provide counsel on land use and applications, site design, approval processes and related issues.
Research and relay information, including municipal regulations, acts, codes of practice, historical data, soil and water well information, topography, and existing land uses related to client properties.
Prepare and submit applications for land use, subdivisions, permits, boundary adjustments, provincial and municipal appeals.
Prepare comprehensive/strategic land master plans for municipal and private developers.
Engage with development impact fee studies, assessments, and strategies for municipalities.
Present and support applications with municipal staff and represent clients at public engagement sessions, meetings, and hearings.
Stay informed of developments within the relevant municipalities by reviewing council decisions and related publications.
Qualifications
Planning degree recognized by the American Planning Association or Landscape Architecture degree from an accredited university.
A certified member of the American Planning Association (AICP) is desired, but not required.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in planning or landscape architecture.
