BHE Renewables is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner in Des Moines, IA, to lead full-cycle recruiting for diverse roles. Description
The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner will collaborate with business leaders to recruit talent for a variety of positions, from technical and professional roles to leadership and specialized, hard-to-fill positions. Leveraging expertise, develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies, guide hiring teams through the recruitment process, and ensure all hiring practices align with compliance standards. The role will foster strong relationships with hiring managers to align recruitment strategies with organizational goals. Serves as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing consultative guidance and talent acquisition expertise to ensure the company attracts, engages, and retains top talent aligned with business objectives. The role will also involve proactive workforce planning, strategic sourcing, and competitor mapping.
Responsibilities
• Full cycle recruiting; lead the end-to-end recruitment process for various roles, including sourcing, screening, and offer process
• Develop, plan, and execute proactive sourcing strategies to develop and engage diverse talent pipelines
• Drive recruitment process optimization to deliver an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience
• Track project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders, and proactively drive initiatives forward to ensure timely completion and alignment with organizational goals
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external talent networks to support strong talent pipelines
• Ensure hiring practices comply with company policies, employment laws, and regulations
• Follow established procedures and maintain accurate records within the applicant tracking system
• Provide consultation with business partners; act as a consultative partner to hiring managers, advising on market trends, workforce planning and recruitment and hiring best practices
• Lead a seamless, positive candidate experience at every state of the process, fostering engagement, and showcasing our company culture
• Employer branding strategy and execution work in partnership with Communications
• Provide leadership and guidance to other Talent team members
• May participate in HR/Talent focused project and program planning and implementation efforts
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business administration, or related studies or equivalent work experience
• Candidates without bachelor’s degree must have 6 years of related, progressive work experience, including at least 5 years of end-to-end recruiting experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of employment-related laws, regulations and employment selection criteria
• Expertise in LinkedIn Recruiter utilizing Boolean search strategies
• Preferred experience in competitive talent mapping and strategic sourcing, including identifying, analyzing, and targeted top talent from industry competitors
• Experienced in leveraging market insights, competitor research, and sourcing strategies to proactively build high-quality talent pipelines to drive competitive advantage in hiring
• Expertise in networking, building relationships, and ability to identify passive candidates
• Highly skilled in acting as a consultative partner to hiring managers, advising on market trends, workforce planning, and recruitment best practices
• Ability to develop and drive transformative talent strategy that aligns with long-term business objectives
• Strong influencing, consulting, and negotiation skills
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools; Oracle Fusion experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in fast paced demanding environment
• Organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong project management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently
• Microsoft Office skills; Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint skills
