The position will apply your academic knowledge and solid understanding and experience with standard practices and techniques used when working with data to support and manage projects that include environmental assessments, groundwater remediation, water resources, geotechnical construction, and more.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintaining and managing project-specific data sets using enterprise databases (SQL Server) and commercial environmental data management applications (EQuIS);
• Developing workflows and processes to facilitate compilation of data from multiple sources and serve data to maps, reports, and other analysis tools;
• Analyzing and reporting on large and diverse datasets, including developing web-based reports and dashboards with business intelligence (BI) tools;
• Interacting with internal and external providers to coordinate collection and transfer of data to project databases;
• Interacting with project teams to support informed decision-making for environmental engineering and geoscience projects;

Education and Licensure
• Bachelor's degree in geography, science, or geology. (required)
• Advanced degree in geography, science, or geology. (preferred)
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
• At least 2 years of technical training and experience in database technology and data analysis, or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)
• Experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS). (required)
• Experience with web-based reports and dashboards in BI tools. (required)
• Experience with database management and building extract, transform, load (ETL) processes. (required)
• Ability to write custom queries and automate routine processes (e.g., SQL, VBA, Python). (required)
• Process oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. (required)
• Familiarity with the EQuIS environmental data management platform. (preferred)
• Direct experience managing environmental, geologic, and/or geotechnical data. (preferred)
• Knowledge of laboratory analytical chemistry data verification and validation processes. (preferred)
• Excellent writing and communication skills. (required)
• Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing. (required)
• Valid U.S. driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)
