As the necessity for water reuse grows, our clients require partners with both technical expertise and insightful guidance. In this position, you will:
• Assist clients in establishing and executing reuse strategies that balance technical feasibility, regulatory aspects, and community sentiments.
• Lead cross-functional teams throughout every stage of planning, design, and implementation for water reclamation and reuse projects, from feasibility studies to comprehensive execution.
• Work closely with sales leaders to unveil project opportunities and assist in scoping and budgeting initiatives.
• Strengthen client relationships by being a reliable contact, ensuring clear communication during the lifecycle of complex projects.
• Oversee project scope, timelines, budgets, and risks, focusing on consistently delivering exceptional results.
• Collaborate with CDM Smith specialists in treatment, communications, permitting, modeling, and construction to deliver complete solutions.
• Mentor and guide emerging project managers and technical staff, nurturing the next generation of leaders in the water sector.
• Enhance the organization's visibility by representing CDM Smith at relevant conferences and events, illustrating our accomplishments in the reuse field.
• Identify growth opportunities in water reuse for both existing and potential clients seeking resilient water supply solutions.

• Implement advanced treatment technologies in a responsible manner.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree.
• 13 years of relevant experience.
• PMP (PMI), CCM, or DBIA certification required (to be obtained within 12 months of hire or promotion).
• Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally based on project demands.
• Equivalent experience may substitute for educational requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering.
• A current professional engineering license is strongly preferred.
• Experience working with communities in the southeastern U.S. is advantageous.
• A proven track record managing treatment projects exceeding $1M.
• Direct experience with water reclamation and reuse initiatives.
• Proficiency in leading multidisciplinary project teams.
• Exceptional communication, networking, and team-building skills.
