CDM Smith is on the lookout for a motivated Senior Project Manager excited about developing sustainable solutions for communities and clients through water reuse practices across the southeastern U.S. If you enjoy building lasting client relationships, tackling complex water challenges, and advancing water reuse methodologies, this role is your chance to make a significant impact.

As the demand for water reuse intensifies, our clients seek partners with both technical mastery and insightful guidance. In this position, you will:
• Assist clients in developing and executing reuse strategies that harmonize technical feasibility, regulatory requirements, and community perspectives.
• Lead cross-functional teams throughout all stages of planning, design, and implementation for water reclamation and reuse projects, from feasibility studies to full execution.
• Collaborate with sales leaders to identify project opportunities and aid in the scoping and budgeting process.
• Strengthen client relationships by positioning yourself as a reliable point of contact, ensuring clear communication during complex projects.
• Oversee project scope, timelines, budgets, and risks, focusing on consistently delivering high-quality results.
• Partner with CDM Smith specialists in treatment, communications, permitting, modeling, and construction to provide holistic solutions.
• Mentor emerging project managers and technical staff, cultivating the next generation of leaders in the water sector.
• Enhance the firm's visibility by representing CDM Smith at relevant conferences and events, showcasing our successes in the reuse field.
• Identify growth opportunities in water reuse for both existing and potential clients interested in resilient water supply solutions.

In this role, you'll be engaged in projects that:
• Boost drought resilience
• Alleviate stress on limited freshwater resources
• Enhance water quality by reducing nutrient levels
• Support compliance with regulatory requirements, including Florida's Senate Bill 64
• Promote sustainable economic growth in communities
• Implement advanced treatment technologies responsibly
• Create dependable water sources for utilities, industries, and regions in need

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
• 13 years of relevant experience
• PMP (PMI), CCM, or DBIA certification required (to be obtained within 12 months of hire or promotion)
• Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally based on project demands
• Equivalent experience may substitute for educational requirements

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering
• A current professional engineering license is strongly preferred
• Experience working with communities in the southeastern U.S. is preferred
• A proven track record managing treatment projects exceeding $1M
• Direct experience with water reclamation and reuse initiatives
• Proficiency in leading multidisciplinary project teams
• Exceptional communication, networking, and team-building skills
