Job Description
Highfield Professional Solutions Ltd is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Sustainability to lead ESG initiatives across major construction projects. The role involves project selection, implementation, and stakeholder engagement, focusing on sustainability alignment with business goals. Candidates should have over 3 years of project management experience, knowledge of ESG and sustainable construction, and strong leadership skills. This is a full-time remote position with a salary of £60K–£70K.

Role Overview
This is a key opportunity to join a leading hyperscale data centre operator as a Senior Sustainability Project Manager. You will lead and deliver sustainability and ESG initiatives across major construction projects, aligning with the company's long-term environmental strategy. The role spans project selection, implementation, and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on driving performance across all business areas.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead sustainability and ESG programs across construction projects.
• Act as a subject matter expert to align sustainability with project delivery and commercial goals.
• Deliver ESG reporting and support ISO standards and compliance.
• Manage energy and environmental systems with operational teams.
• Implement local sustainability initiatives and frameworks.
• Oversee suppliers and contractors to execute ESG-related work.
• Use data to monitor progress and drive improvement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to embed sustainability across all project stages.
Skills & Experience
• 3+ years in project management within consulting, construction, or IT/communications.
• Strong knowledge of ESG, carbon accounting, and sustainable construction.
• Familiar with project management methods (APM, PRINCE2) and ISO standards.
• Ability to read technical drawings and translate concepts into actionable plans.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Comfortable working independently in dynamic environments.
