Critical Attributes - Client centric, strong communicator with high organisational skills and the desire to excel in the competitive Australia Power Systems / Grid Connections sector. - Great rapport with high performing engineers and a passion for teamwork. - Experience working at AEMO or NSPs, especially connections teams highly advantageous. Key responsibilities and experience relevant for the role - Relevant qualifications in Project Management or Engineering disciplines. - Ideally 10+ years of Project Management/Engineering experience, with a proven background in managing resources, budgets and timelines throughout a project timeline from concept to completion. - Demonstrable and proven knowledge and understanding of the utility connections / renewable energy industry, and project processes in Australia. - Strong stakeholder management skills and a proactive mindset. Be the point of contact and manage all communication with Clients, NSP and AEMO (potentially OEMs). - Management of project teams comprising of Power Systems engineers in Australia and abroad. - Development of relationships with relevant stakeholders including NSPs, clients, AEMO and internal DNV teams. - Development of project plans including timelines for different studies and report submissions. - Development of systems, processes, and tools for project management. Value Add - Ability to contribute or lead electricity network infrastructure, regulatory, or markets advisory/consulting projects. - Business Development, contract negotiations, administering executed contracts and setting up projects in DNV PM software.
