A leading renewable energy player focused on innovation and sustainability in Italy. They are expanding their team and seeking a Senior Project Development Manager to help grow their portfolio of wind and solar renewables projects.

The role:
• Lead the initial project design with internal teams and external experts (site selection, environmental assessments, and layout planning).
• Oversee the authorisation process, including environmental impact assessments and required permits.
• Build and maintain relationships with authorities and local communities involved in the project.
• Manage land acquisition for project sites and related works.
• Handle the process of connecting renewable energy plants to the grid, from initial request to final setup.
• Ensure all necessary paperwork and procedures for obtaining incentive tariffs are completed.

The person:
• 5+ years of experience in renewable energy project development.
• Strong knowledge of Italian renewable energy regulations.
• A degree in engineering (electrical, civil, environmental, or similar).
• Fluent in English.
