Job Description:

Are you an upcoming business school graduate with a burning desire to make a positive impact on our planet? Do you have experience or a strong interest in renewable energy project development, origination, power marketing, legal, or mergers and acquisitions of projects and portfolios? Key Responsibilities:

Project Development:

Work hand-in-hand with our team to identify, assess, and develop renewable energy projects, from conception to execution. This includes site selection, negotiating site control agreements with landowners, filing new projects with utilities and independent system operators, and permitting projects to ensure we receive any right-to-build permits that the projects need.

Origination:

Play a vital role in sourcing power purchase agreements by conducting market research and building strategic partnerships with third-party power purchasers.

Power Marketing:

Assist and lead in the marketing and sale of renewable energy from our projects by collaborating with utilities and corporations looking to procure.

Legal Support:

Provide legal expertise or work with our counsel on renewable energy transactions and contracts.

Mergers and Acquisitions:

Participate and lead in the evaluation and execution of project and portfolio sales to third-party buyers as well as evaluate joint ventures with utilities and independent power producers.

Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, environmental studies, or a related field.

Passion for renewable energy and building a business.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

An entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to think creatively.
