Senior Project Delivery Specialist - Grid Automation

The Senior Project Delivery Specialist - Grid Automation at beBee Careers is responsible for managing and closing projects in the electrical transmission and distribution sector in Saudi Arabia. Key duties include overseeing project execution, ensuring adherence to management best practices, and collaborating with various internal teams. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and preferably PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
The Lead Project Manager-Close Out role is responsible for delivering and closing projects within the electrical transmission and distribution industry across Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage project execution from internal handover to closure, ensuring accurate forecasting related to project closure.
• Serve as the primary customer contact for contract/project closure, collaborating with various internal functions.
• Collaborate with EHS, engineering, contract admin, contract management, finance, procurement, and support functions to ensure smooth project closure.
• Ensure adherence to project management best practices, including transfer review, project gate reviews, and close-out procedures.
• Provide monthly updates on action plans, sales, and cash forecasts, preparing and presenting project review reports.
Project Management Expertise
• Experience in electric substations engineering and site commissioning.
• Prioritizing safety, project scope, schedule, cost, and quality to meet project objectives.
• Vigilant about potential risks and opportunities, documenting and sharing lessons learned as needed.
Leadership Qualities
• Proactive approach to challenges.
• Fostering open reporting and compliance with GE policies ('The Spirit and The Letter').
• Leading EHS and safety initiatives, ensuring proper training of project teams.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in project, contract, or site management.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is advantageous.
• Fluent in English.
