Job Description
Veolia is hiring a Senior Procurement Manager for its Taiwan business unit in Section, AL. The role involves managing procurement functions, developing procedures, optimizing processes, and achieving cost savings. Responsibilities include supplier management, performance tracking, and leading process improvements. Candidates should have 5-8 years of procurement experience, fluency in English and Mandarin, and strong Excel skills. The position is full-time and requires interaction in a multicultural setting.
Overview: Veolia is the global leader in optimized resource management, and we are seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to join our Taiwan business unit. As a key member of our procurement community, you will be responsible for setting up and managing the procurement function at the business unit level, developing and implementing procedures aligned with Group requirements, and leading optimization initiatives to improve procurement processes and achieve cost savings. Responsibilities:
• Set up and manage the procurement function at the business unit level, including developing and implementing procedures aligned with Group requirements
• Track performance objectives and purchasing savings, and manage data collection and reporting to Asia/Group headquarters
• Coordinate with buyers across the Taiwan business unit to achieve synergies and improve interactions with other departments
• Manage suppliers, including building and maintaining a suppliers database, supporting subsidiaries with supplier relationship management, and leading optimization initiatives
• Identify suppliers and develop contracts, establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and achieve cost savings
• Lead procurement-to-pay (P2P) process improvement, modernize information systems, and deploy sustainable procurement policies
• Qualifications:**
• 5-8 years of experience in procurement, ideally within an industrial and/or multinational company
• Knowledge/experience in P2P process and procurement processes is desirable
• Knowledge/experience in finance would be a plus
• Fluent in English and Mandarin
• Good command of MS Excel and Google suite
• Good presentation skills
• Ability to interact with various departments and entities in a multicultural environment
