Senior Policy Officer (Multiple Positions)

The Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action is hiring Senior Policy Officers in Melbourne, VIC, for multiple fixed-term and ongoing roles focused on forest policy development. Candidates should have relevant qualifications and experience. The positions offer a dynamic work environment with hybrid work arrangements. Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
• An appropriate tertiary qualification(s) in public policy, law, natural resource or environmental management or similar is desirable.
• Experience in development of forest policy or similar is desirable.

There are two ongoing positions and two fixed term positions available until 30 June 2026. The work location for these positions is 8 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
