Senior Manager of Finance

Peregrine Energy Solutions is seeking a Senior Manager of Finance to lead project finance transactions for renewable energy projects. The role involves managing deal execution, building relationships with investors, and mentoring junior team members. Candidates should have a background in finance, with 5-7 years of experience in renewable energy finance. This full-time position offers a salary range of $160k - $180k and can be fully remote.

Manager / Sr. Manager of Finance

Description:

The Manager / Sr. Manager of Finance will lead the execution of project finance transactions for Peregrine’s growing portfolio

of utility-scale energy storage and generation projects. Peregrine anticipates raising over $1 billion of third-party capital over

the several years and needs a talented Manager / Sr. Manager of Finance to help lead these efforts. This position will manage

deal execution from start to finish and will also be external facing, building and maintaining relationships with lenders and tax

equity investors.

This position will report to the Director of Finance and will manage junior members of the team. The team is highly cohesive

and collaborative, but each member maintains an ownership mentality of projects and processes.

This is a full-time position and can be fully remote.

Responsibilities:



Lead execution of financing and M&A transactions for renewable energy and battery storage projects,


Manage relationships with investors and financing parties,


Create (and lead) presentations and other materials for key stakeholders including our Risk Committee and external

financing parties


Track relevant industry trends and developments and advise Peregrine management accordingly,


Build and maintain financial models with complex capital structures,


Review and opine on financing considerations of material project contracts (offtake, equipment, EPC, O&M)


Collaborate with members of other Peregrine teams to support valuation of M&A and greenfield projects,


Support development of project pipeline and deployment of capital,


Manage external consultants and law firms to ensure timely and smooth execution of transactions,


Manage and mentor junior members of Finance team.

Required Skills/Experience


Bachelor’s in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field,


MBA or CFA preferred,


5-7 years of experience in renewable energy finance,


Experience with project finance execution,


Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,


Highly organized and detail oriented.

Salary: Salary Range is $160k - $180k

Bonus: This position may be eligible to receive an annual cash incentive bonus capped at a % of your base salary and on your

performance review.
