Role Overview
As a Procurement Senior Manager for Sustainability Data Assurance, you will be responsible for defining, implementing, and overseeing the sustainability data collection and validation processes with our Contract Manufacturing Organisation (CMO) and suppliers for sustainability reporting. With the first phase of CMO packaging data collection completed, the second phase will focus on Raw Materials and is set to commence in Q2 2025. Your role will involve developing a strategic and highly automated solution while looking for potential synergies with our other data collection processes (ie Sustainable Sourcing and recycled content).
You will collaborate with senior stakeholders to establish the approach and work closely with their teams to gather data from relevant organizations. Additionally, you will play a key role in educating and engaging stakeholders, leveraging the support of our partner organizations to drive sustainability initiatives across the company.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and Implement: Develop the next phase of the CMO data program and secure stakeholder buy-in.
• Strategic System Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design a strategic system for data management, integration, and updates.
• Data Coordination: Oversee the collection, validation, uploading, and maintenance of sustainability data.
• Reporting Alignment: Ensure data requirements are aligned with reporting needs.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work with CMO procurement and Supplier Relationship Managers (SRMs) to ensure alignment and engagement with CMOs.
• Audit Compliance: Ensure procurement data complies with audit requirements (Carbon, Sustainability Sourcing, recycled content).
• Automation Collaboration: Partner with the Tech team to automate data management processes, including design, documentation, testing, and implementation.

Location and Grade:
The role will be a Grade 6 position based in India.
The role will report to the Director, Procurmement Sustainability & Packaging (based in UK)
Qualifications & Skills:
• Educational Background: University degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field (Science or Technical).
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in procurement or sustainability roles and a minimum of years in project management combined with technology/data management.
• Technical Proficiency: Proven track record in technology, data management, and automation.
• Project Management: Experience managing global projects is a plus.
• Organizational Navigation: Demonstrated ability to navigate organizational complexity, collaborate with multiple teams, influence without authority, and handle escalations and their business impacts.
• Market Insight: Strong understanding of market drivers affecting the category and a commitment to staying updated on industry trends.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in fluent English.
• Industry Experience: Experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector is preferred.
