Senior Manager - Carbon Solution Integration

The Boeing Global Enterprise Sustainability (GES) organization has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager - Carbon Solution Integration reporting to the VP, Global Engagements and Partnerships. This role will be located in Renton, WA; Arlington, VA; or Hazelwood, MO.

In this role you will work closely with the ICAO-CAEP (International Civil Aviation Organization - Committee Aviation Environmental Protection) to integrate Boeing efforts across the various workgroups. The successful candidate will have a passion for environmental sustainability, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

Position Responsibilities:
• Partner and lead Boeing Carbon Solutions to catalyze new Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) supply, execute bankable CDR offtake agreements; and support programs, projects and project developers to pursue CORSIA (Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation) eligibility
• Integrates Boeing efforts across enterprise and business units in support of ICAO CAEP (International Civil Aviation Organization - Committee Aviation Environmental Protection) workgroups, initiatives, and plans
• Represents Boeing in ICAO supported industry organizations, such as ICCAIA (International Coordinating Council of Aerospace Industry Associations)
• Represents directly on select CAEP workgroups as needed and as qualified
• Leads development of CAEP position papers on topics such as carbon removals, CORSIA, LTAG, etc.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• 7+ years of experience in environmental sustainability, strategy, policy development, or a related field
• Experience managing and/or leading teams either formally or informally, as well as influencing within matrixed organizations

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• Experience maintaining up to date knowledge of environmental sustainability issues and policies in aviation and the aviation industry
• Experience engaging in government led coalitions regarding aviation policy
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including industry groups, government agencies, and environmental organizations
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to travel as needed to attend meetings, conferences, and other events

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $159,800 - $216,200
