Job Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven professional to be part of project finance team looking after funding requirements of our solar, wind, BESS and Hybrid portfolio. This position will be responsible for managing the full financing lifecycle— from deal structuring, negotiation, sanction, documentation to compliance and maintaining lender relationships across hierarchy — ensuring the financial health and scalability of ongoing and future projects.

The role involves hands-on engagement with external stakeholders including lenders, advisors and rating agencies, while also contributing to internal strategy, MIS, Investor relations and regulatory alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

Capital Raising & Transaction Support
• Prepare high-quality Information Memorandums, teasers, presentations and company profiles for banks, NBFCs and institutional investors etc.
• Lead coordination for term loans, working capital facilities, hedging, and non-fund-based limits (LCs, BGs)
• Engage with external advisors such as legal, technical, environmental, financial, and insurance consultants for due diligence, documentation and regular compliance
• Drive processes for debt documentation, disbursement, security creation and post-funding compliance

Financial Modelling & Analysis
• Build dynamic, scenario-based financial models to evaluate funding structures, project IRRs, sensitivities and lender covenants
• Support investment decisions with sound analytical insights and risk-adjusted projections

Regulatory Monitoring & Compliance
• Track and interpret regulatory developments related to renewable energy financing — RBI, SEBI, MNRE, FDI, taxation and state-level policy updates
• Assess implications of regulatory shifts on current and future capital raise strategies

Lender & Credit Engagement
• Manage and nurture relationships with banks, NBFCs, credit rating agencies, and financial institutions across levels
• Oversee processes for credit rating assessments, renewal of LCs/BGs/TLs/CCs and respond to lender requirements and compliances on an ongoing basis
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation and credit data

Reporting & MIS
• Generate periodic MIS and reporting dashboards for management review
• Provide transaction updates, disbursement trackers and strategic financial inputs to senior leadership and external stakeholders

Skills & Experience
• Demonstrated success in project finance transactions for renewable, energy EPC or infrastructure projects.
• Deep understanding of financial structuring, modelling, due diligence and loan documentation
• Adept at financial modelling expertise with a commercial mindset
• Familiarity with regulatory environment in India’s renewable energy sector
• Excellent communication, negotiation and documentation skills

Educational Qualification
• MBA (Finance) / Equivalent post-graduate degree from a reputed institution / Chartered Accountant.
• 8+ years in project finance, with strong exposure to renewables, infrastructure or energy sectors
• Certification in Project or Infrastructure Finance is a plus
