Our client, a highly regarded European Solar Developer, is seeking a Senior Legal Advisor in The Netherlands who will support their Dutch business with the development of large-scale ground-mounted solar PV projects.
Job Responsibilities:

Pro-actively and autonomously provide legal support in solar project development specifically and corporate business in general
• Furthermore, be the go-to person for all solar PV project legal-related matters
• Establish relationships with stakeholders involved in all legal matters required for successful project development and corporate day-to-day business
• In addition, manage all legal processes for our solar PV projects in the Netherlands
• Additionally, provide high standards best practice legal support in the project development process
• Moreover, work closely with our European development team and European Legal Specialists
• Track changes to legislation and their impact on our development pipeline/future focus

Requirements:
• An experienced and energetic legal specialist who will support the business by ensuring legal compliance at all stages in its venture of growth.
• Proven track record in legal expertise, preferably with large-scale renewable projects
• Affinity with technical and financial feasibility of projects and an understanding of key factors required to develop a viable project
• A general understanding of the relevant planning processes
• Strong negotiation, influencing, and commercial skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders
• Spoken and written fluency in Dutch and English
• Lastly, willingness to travel on a regular basis within The Netherlands and abroad.
