Job Summary

This role is a technical lead in executing the performance of various services within the discipline area. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical and thought leadership to staff and clients, facilitating staff development, and driving the growth and development of the discipline.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydrology and hydraulics, with experience in planning, design, and construction administration of infrastructure projects. They will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to staff and clients on hydrology and hydraulics-related matters.
• Facilitate staff development and training programs to improve skills and knowledge in the discipline area.
• Drive the growth and development of the discipline through innovation and best practice.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop technical scope of work, budgets, and schedules for projects.
• Mentor and develop junior staff members to ensure their success and career advancement.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in hydrology and hydraulics, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Louisiana, or ability to gain licensure within 4 months of hire.
