Description

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources’ Division of Forestry is looking to fill Forester-Senior positions. These roles involve directing and providing forest management assistance on private lands, state lands, federal lands, and county forests. Forest management encompasses tasks such as forest reconnaissance, creating management plans, developing timber sale establishments, administering timber stand improvements, and overseeing reforestation and afforestation efforts. Additionally, the positions involve property management and supporting the administration of the Good Neighbor Authority agreement with the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest.
