The Role

We are seeking an established Executive Director, Water and Environment to provide leadership and strategic direction to our Water and Environment business globally in collaboration with the wider SJ Group strategy.

This role can be based in one of our major offices across Singapore, Middle East, India or Australia.

As Senior Executive Director, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring there is consistency and cohesion across our Water and Environment business globally, with the effect of growing the Infrastructure + Energy business line through optimal people, commercial, business development, client relationship management and project performance.

Your responsibilities extend to the ongoing development, direction, and delivery of the Strategic Action Plan for the Infrastructure sector, Water and Environment being your focus. This includes organic growth, capability development, strategic partnerships and alliances. You will be well versed in managing profit and loss on a global scale, ensuring capability development and mobilisation of resources.

As an ideal candidate, you will have:
• 20+ years in the industry with proven success in Senior Management roles with a focus on global strategy within the Water and Environment industry.
• Well established industry profile and active involvement in industry associations.
• Ability to establish and maintain client relationships, providing expert business development advice.
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline; postgraduate and project management qualifications highly regarded.
• In-depth knowledge of industry standards, legislation, and market trends globally.
• High level communication skills, including negotiating and resolving highly complex commercial, technical and people matters.
