Job Description
HSBC is seeking a Senior ESG Risk Manager in Courbevoie, France, requiring significant risk management experience, especially in ESG. This role is an opportunity to work in an area of growing interest to regulators, investors while the wider external market with risk management practices and regulation for ESG topics are evolving globally.In this role you will : Actively support the consideration of ESG risks in HBCE’s risk management activities. Your main assignments are to (but not limited to) : Ensure the proper identification, analysis and operationalization of ESG regulatory obligations faced by HBCE including the upcoming ESG new regulations.Provide support where relevant to the business and functions in delivering and embedding ESG risk in their risk management activities.Support the wider HSBC sustainability strategy and its implications for HBCE (Including climate risk, net zero alignment risk and greenwashing risks).Support / consult / engage with key stakeholders in HBCE and the HSBC Group.Challenge, advise and provide a second line of defence opinion on Sustainability risk matters.Produce ESG related risk contents for HBCE external disclosures.#J-18808-Ljbffr
