Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Senior Environmental Scientist/Geologist in Nashua, NH, to support environmental investigation and remediation projects. Responsibilities include data management, site investigations, and technical deliverables preparation. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 6 years of experience, and involves both fieldwork and office tasks with up to 20% travel. AECOM has a global opportunity for an experienced geologist or environmental scientist to assist with a variety of projects including data management, site investigations and remediation.

The successful candidate will gather and analyze geological, hydrogeological and geochemical data in both the field and office settings.
Key Responsibilities
• Support a wide range of environmental investigation and remediation projects under CERCLA, RCRA, and State jurisdictions.
• Contribute directly to the preparation and review of technical project deliverables (e.g., work plans, remedial investigations, and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments).
• Conduct soil, groundwater, and vapor intrusion sampling.
• Develop clear and defensible Conceptual Site Models (CSMs) for complex sites.
• Conduct research and investigation work as required.

The job duties will involve both field work and office assignments with occasional overnight travel required.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, geology, or a related field, along with a minimum of 6 years of experience, or demonstrated equivalency in experience and/or education.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Must be a US citizen or permanent resident
• Ability to travel up to 20% to various job sites within US.
