Mattinson Partnership is seeking a Senior Environmental Impact Assessment Consultant in London. The role involves coordinating environmental inputs for large-scale projects, collaborating with specialists, and engaging with clients. Join us at Mattinson for an exciting opportunity! We are thrilled to announce that our client is expanding their EIA team and seeking a Senior Environmental Impact Assessment Consultant. This is your chance to be part of a prestigious company highly regarded for delivering top-quality technical work across various sectors.

In this role, you will work on innovative projects in areas such as aviation, renewable energy (including solar, wind, battery energy storage systems, and hydrogen), masterplan development, and diverse property projects. Collaborate with like-minded professionals and gain exposure to specialists like acousticians and air quality consultants, allowing you to showcase your expertise while enhancing your skillset in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate environmental inputs for large-scale developments and infrastructure projects from inception to assessment.
• Collaborate with EIA Consultants and environmental specialists, managing all project aspects including feasibility studies, strategy development, detailed design, and condition discharges.
• Engage directly with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors, preparing fee proposals and writing comprehensive EIA documents and environmental reports.

You will have the flexibility to work from any of our UK offices, including London, Bristol, Warrington, or Brighton, promoting a collaborative approach to achieving project goals.

Requirements:
• At least 3 years of EIA experience with a thorough understanding of the complete EIA process.
• Strong knowledge of multiple environmental disciplines and experience in bid preparation activities.
• Chartered status or progress towards it with a relevant professional body (IEME or CEnv) is essential.
• Experience in project and line management, including finance and financial control associated with these roles.
• Familiarity with the Development Consent Order (DCO) process is a plus.
