About the Role:

Lakshya is looking for a Senior Environment Artist who can Create and develop visual concepts for environments, levels and buildings. Generate concepts for diverse and immersive game environments, such as landscapes, buildings, interiors, and props. Illustrate key level design elements, including layout, landmarks, and interactive objects. Work closely with level designers to ensure gameplay and visuals are in harmony.

Requirements

Skills, Knowledge and Experience
• Overall ability to develop layouts and designs within the style of the game&aposs direction, ranging from realism to heavily stylized
• Strong understanding of perspective
• Excellent architectural sense
• Strong sense of light and color
• Ability to concept nature scenes
• Ability to do orthographic views and detail/material breakdowns for 3D modelers
• Clean line drawing skills
• Able to "paintover" grey box to conceptualize finished environment
• 3D understanding is a must for both initial grey-boxing as well as working closely with 3D modelers during production
• Knowledge of Game Art production pipeline will also be nice to have
• 3-4 years of relevant experience
