Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and driven New College Graduate (NCG) to join our Product Regulatory Engineering team as a Senior Engineer focusing on Product Environmental Compliance (PEC) and Life Cycle Assessments (LCA). In this role, you will contribute to our company’s global Product Regulatory & Sustainability initiatives by supporting product development teams, evaluating environmental impacts, and ensuring compliance with international product-related environmental regulations including RoHS, REACH, WEEE, PFAS and other emerging requirements.

Key Responsibilities
• Collect and analyze product Bill of Materials (BoMs), manufacturing data, and supplier information for environmental impact analysis.
• Ensure compliance with international environmental regulations such as:
• RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances)
• REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals)
• WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment)
• PFAS Regulations
• California Proposition 65, TSCA, and other region-specific directives.
• Support Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) for products and components using tools such as GaBi, or equivalent.
• Work with cross-functional teams (Design, Supply Chain, Compliance, and Sustainability) to gather and validate compliance data.
• Maintain and update material declaration and compliance databases (e.g., IPC-1752A, BOMcheck, IMDS, SCIP, GDX).
• Contribute to supplier engagement efforts related to sustainability and compliance data collection.
• Assist in preparing sustainability reports, compliance documentation, and regulatory filings.
• Stay updated on evolving global environmental compliance regulations and sustainability trends.

Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline with 7.5 CGPA & above .
• Strong academic background in sustainability, environmental science, or product stewardship.
• Exposure to or coursework in Life Cycle Assessment methodologies and tools.
• Understanding of environmental compliance regulations such as RoHS, REACH, WEEE and PFAS.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with data management tools.
