Senior Electric Vehicle Mechanic

Zoomo is seeking a Senior Electric Vehicle Mechanic in Melbourne, VIC. Responsibilities include performing repairs on e-bicycles, using specialized tools, training other mechanics, communicating with customers, and maintaining workshop organization. The position is full-time and does not require a degree.
Your Responsibilities
• Perform repairs and maintenance on e-bicycles, including replacing batteries, motors, controllers, wiring, brakes, drivetrain components, and suspension systems.
• Utilize specialized tools and equipment for advanced repairs like wheel truing, headset adjustments, and frame alignment.
• Provide guidance and training to other mechanics on e-bike repair techniques as needed.
• Communicate effectively with customers, answering questions and providing recommendations on bike maintenance and upgrades.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed on bicycles, including detailed notes on parts and labor.
• Maintain a clean and organized workshop, ensuring tools and equipment are in good condition and properly stored.
