Our client is looking for a Senior Ecologist/Biologist, Project Manager to join their awesome team on a full-time basis! This opportunity can sit in their offices in Clermont or Kissimmee, FL with flexibility for remote work and hybrid schedule for the successful candidate.

The Senior Ecologist/Biologist will ideally spend 50% of their time in the field and 50% of their time completing reports and permit applications, and collecting and documenting information about plants, animals, wetland delineations, and the environment. Requirements:

Experience with regulatory programs and applications

Ability to write proposals for:
• Environmental due diligence
• Wetland and/or wildlife permitting
• Wetland delineations

Experience with:
• General wildlife assessments and reports
• FWC Gopher Tortoise surveying and relocation
• Bald eagle, caracara, sandhill crane and osprey nest monitoring
• USFWS Scrub-jay and Sand Skink surveys
• GIS mapping and graphics

Qualifications:
• 10+ years of related experience
• Bachelor of Science in Biology, Environmental Science, Ecology
• Comfortable working with reptiles
• Physically active, able to work 10+ hours outside
• GIS mapping
• Ability to tow trailer (preferred)
• Operating UTV/ATV
