lications and email the website testimonials and other appropriate communication vehicles Develop and implement an ongoing strategy for meeting the President s solicitation goals through planned and blended gifts Develop relationships with individual donors and prospects to secure planned gifts Personally solicit and close planned and blended gifts when appropriate Oversee the administration of all planned and blended gifts and their integration into donor strategy Continuously monitor and evaluate the Planned Gifts program to achieve short and long term goals Refine and develop strategies for solicitation and stewardship of planned gift donors and prospects Continually assess and improve the Planned Gifts program to ensure success in alignment with the NeverRest Campaign goals Team Management 30 Lead manage and inspire a talented team focused on achieving significant growth in planned gifts Work with members of the Development Leadership Team to identify training opportunities for team members and collectively create a supportive and creative team oriented culture Coordinate workplans for the Planned Gifts team and establish individual workplans for each team member Work with the Planned Gifts team to integrate the strategic priorities and broader fundraising goals of Earthjustice into individual goals and objectives of the team members Monitor progress toward weekly and monthly fundraising goals with each team member to ensure achievable revenue targets are met Implement strategies to motivate and engage team members in their work and create opportunities for professional growth and development Qualifications Demonstrated ability to secure complex planned and outright gifts with successful solicitations of 7 figure commitments Excellent communicator and motivator Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with donors prospects and colleagues Outstanding interpersonal skills in a team oriented environment A personal approach that inspires trust and confidence Positive proactive and self motivated personality An inherent passion for the mission of Earthjustice A commitment to collaboration and teamwork Bachelor s degree required Planned giving experience preferred but not required 12 years of successful fundraising experience identifying cultivating and acquiring gifts of 50 000 and above preferred Ability to travel as needed Full
