Senior Director, Energy Consulting

REsurety is seeking a Senior Director for Energy Consulting in Boston, MA. The role involves leading a consulting team, managing energy projects, and developing client relationships. Candidates should have extensive experience in energy consulting and project management. The position operates on a hybrid model, with mandatory office days on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, while Wednesdays and Fridays are remote optional.
Position Overview

As the leader of the Consulting team at REsurety Insights, you will bring your experience and passion for answering interesting energy market questions for our clients, using your industry knowledge and REsurety’s proprietary data. Reporting to the SVP, Customer Experience, and guiding a small but effective team of consultants, you will oversee project delivery, client management, team development, and expand our consulting practice. You are a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and collaborative person with a passion for driving impactful solutions in the evolving energy landscape.

Key Responsibilities
• Project manage energy consulting projects, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
• Conduct and lead in-depth market analysis, data modeling, and strategic assessments related to energy markets
• Develop and present clear and concise reports and presentations to clients and internal stakeholders that tell compelling stories through data and market knowledge
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, research, product, sales, and marketing, to deliver comprehensive solutions
• Contribute to the development of new consulting methodologies and service offerings
• Mentor and guide junior consultants, fostering their professional growth

Required Experience & Qualifications
• 12+ years of experience in energy consulting, power market or financial modeling, or related energy industry roles
• 5+ years managing consulting projects and/or teams in customer-facing roles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• A passion for driving the transition to a clean energy future

Preferred Qualifications
• Established network in the energy market space, including clean energy buyers, IPPs, and investors.
• Experience with statistics, modeling, and business intelligence
