National Grid is seeking a Senior Contract Analyst in Warwick, UK, to manage contracts and supplier relationships for HVDC Interconnectors. The role involves ensuring compliance, monitoring contract performance, and collaborating with various departments. About the role
National Grid Interconnectors is at the heart of UK’s transition to our net zero energy future. We operate a number of HVDC Interconnectors that connect the UK’s energy system to some of our closest neighbours, allowing energy to be imported to and exported from the UK.
As well as already owning a portfolio of HVDC Interconnectors, we’re working on developing new projects to ensure that we are able to meet the UK’s future demands for greener energy solutions.
As a Senior Contract Analyst, you will be responsible for a portfolio to ensure we effectively manage the supply chain for our stakeholders, ensuring the right contracting approach is followed for the requirements, mitigating business risks. Working with a variety of stakeholders and suppliers to deliver the business objectives you will also be supporting the wider contract management team.

This role is based from Warwick and you can enjoy our hybrid working from office and home.
Key Accountabilities
• Develop and manage contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Raise and manage purchase orders and invoices,
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure business requirements are met.
• Monitor contract performance and address any issues that arise or escalate where required.
• Provide support and guidance on contract-related matters to other team members and stakeholders.
• Identify discrepancies with contractual information.
• Provide challenge and review of processes to ensure consistency and enable improvements.
About you
• Strong understanding of contract and supplier relationship management.
• A working knowledge or appreciation of using a Contract Management System (CMS) and Coupa / an invoicing and payment system.
• Understanding of contract law
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collate and present information in a concise manner to a range of stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as using own initiative.
What you'll get
A competitive salary between £41,000 - £48,000 – dependent on capability.
As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
