Senior Consultant - Net Zero strategy

Overview of role

This is a Senior Consultant role for a leading Net Zero Consultancy. You will be the account lead for manufacturing, retail and financial services clients. You will lead on the strategy and delivery of climate related and net zero programmes.

Role responsibilities and requirements
• Leading and assisting commercial clients with climate disclosures (CDP, CSRD, TCFD/ISSB) and transition plans
• Providing strategic advice and services around climate-related needs such as GHG

accounting, SBTis and ESG
• Account and project Management on time and within quality and budget parameters
• Development and support around Net Zero services
• Business Development, proposals and bids with commercial clients

Key skills and qualities needed
• Relevant Science or Environmental Degree
• Strong project and team management experience
• Key account and business development experience
• Leadership on corporate net zero strategy and climate disclosures
• Leading and presenting workshops
• Managing bids and delivering proposals
• Advising clients on strategic Net Zeo and Climate related risks and opportunities
• Completing (CDP, CSRD, TCFD/ISSB, SBTi, GHG) reporting submissions
• Excellent awareness of sustainability and carbon issues
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
