Senior C# Full Stack Software Developer

The role involves developing enterprise-grade platforms for real-time monitoring using Industrial IoT technology. Candidates should have 7+ years of experience in software development, proficiency in C#/.NET, and cloud environments, preferably Azure. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary up to R1.5m per annum.
A global innovator in Industrial IoT monitoring technology is expanding its engineering team in Cape Town and looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer. Their technology enables organizations worldwide to monitor assets, infrastructure, and environmental conditions in real time through advanced sensor networks and cloud-based software platforms.

Requirements:
7+ years of full-time software development experience in a company team environment, including building and operating cloud environments in production.Proven experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.Technical Core CompetenciesSolid proficiency in backend and some frontend development. Preferably using C#/.NET, ASP.NET Core (Web APIs), RESTful APIs, and TypeScript.Deep understanding of software engineering foundations, including data structures, algorithms, software design principles, version control, and collaborative development workflows.Proficiency with SQL (including SQL Server query tuning and indexing) and/or NoSQL datastores. Preferably with experience using Entity Framework Core.Experience designing and operating modular monolith and/or microservices-based cloud-native architectures, with understanding of CQRS, Dependency Injection, FluentValidation, JSON serialization, and the Task Parallel Library (TPL).Cloud & DevOps ExpertiseExtensive experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or Software Engineering (preferred), a closely related field or equivalent additional professional experience.Reference Number for this position is MAT61128 which is a permanent position based in Cape Town offering a cost to company salary of up to R1.5m per annum depending on experience and ability.
