We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager with experience in power grid technologies. As a BDM, you will play a pivotal role in building relationships with clients across large infrastructure projects, warehousing and manufacturing facilities as well as mining. Position overview:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and expanding our market presence for innovative power intelligence, smart grid technologies, and green power solutions. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in the power industry, with a focus on main grid and smart grid technology, and a proven track record in business development and sales. To succeed in this role, you will have a strong background in power grid solutions and a strategic vision for long-term sales growth and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Business Development: Identify and source new tenders and business opportunities within the smart systems market
• Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with target clients, including large businesses and factories
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats in the power grid industry.
• Sales Strategy: Develop strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed personal sales targets
• Proposals and Contracts: Prepare and present compelling proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals with clients.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the team to forecast business performance and adapt strategies accordingly
Experience Required:
• Proven experience in business development or sales within the power industry, with a focus on power grid solutions.
• Strong network of contacts within the renewable sectors in Australia.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-driven approach.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel nationally when required.

• Base salary up to $200,000
• Superannuation
