Senior Associate, Performance Insights

NAB is seeking a Senior Associate for the Performance Insights team in Melbourne, VIC. The role involves analyzing financial results, managing financial planning, and delivering detailed financial analysis to support business performance. Candidates should have strong financial acumen, proficiency in modeling tools, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders. A tertiary qualification, ideally CA/CPA, is required. In this Senior Associate role, you will
• Analyse and investigate financial results and understand drivers of variances to expectations.
• Manage financial planning and analysis process, and understand, analyse and effectively communicate the key drivers of business performance.
• Provide detailed financial analysis to enable the provision of commercial and financial advice, on both strategic and operational initiatives to the Business.
• Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders across the organisation.
• Deliver monthly, half yearly and annual reporting for B&PB division including external peer analysis.

What you will bring:
• Focused on driving commercial insights as well as delivering results.
• Able to synthesize information from multiple sources, build complex financial models, identify and synthesise key themes and communicate and influence effectively.
• Technically proficient in use of modelling and visualisation tools (e.g. Advanced Excel, PowerBI etc.), as well as understanding of Finance processes and key systems (HFM, SAP).
• Enjoys working collaboratively and building positive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
• Uncompromising drive, passion, focus, and energy to help innovate and drive change.
• Tertiary qualification required, ideally CA/CPA qualified.
